The Verifiable Evidence Standard

VES is the decision-evidence standard within the broader evidence-standard landscape.

The Verifiable Evidence Standard, or VES, is a published, implementation-neutral standard for preserving and reviewing the evidence, authority, conditions, system contribution, human judgement and commitment behind consequential decisions.

VES is stewarded by Veriscopic. It applies to human, rules, workflow and AI-assisted decisions, including claims, underwriting, delegated authority, referrals, settlements, reserves and renewals.

VES does not certify that a decision was correct, lawful, fair or compliant. It defines how decision-relevant evidence can be structured, preserved and reviewed.
