Standards and category resources should be stable, conservative and versioned deliberately.
EvidenceStandard.org is maintained by Veriscopic as a category resource. Individual published standards, such as VES, retain their own version history, publication status and governance language.
Change discipline
- Material changes should be documented with their rationale.
- Definitions should remain precise and implementation-neutral.
- Historical language should not be silently rewritten where it affects citation or meaning.
- Claims about standards, conformance, correctness or legal effect should remain qualified.
